Mildura Show 2012
Mildura Show 2012 Beaut Ute Competition
This competition was my first major event as of being elected Events Coordinator for 2012/13.
I will let you know, that without the help of every member within the club, the outside entrants and of course the sponsors along side with the Mildura Show Society, the Mildura Show Beaut Ute Comp could not have gone ahead.
UTEZNVANZ Inc. set up camp on Wednesday evening (17/10). The first day of the Mildura Show being Thursday and we held that site for a three day duration. There were many members assisting and volunteering their time to set up and to stay at the show-grounds; until the early hours of the morning, only to turn up again later that day. Many members and our major sponsor Davison Ford had vehicles on display for three days, which made our event intriguing to general show-goers.
Finally the third day came and it was on, the Mildura Show Beaut Ute Comp was in full swing by 10.30am, when judging commenced.
A total of 32 utes and 3 vans, with difficulties comprehending particular displays in the back of utes also the quality of some of the vehicles entered; the judges appeared to have quite a tough time coming up with the results.
The results eventually came in and they were:
