Fully original one family owned van purchased in August 1980.

Thankfully the original brochure displaying the cost of the Van when purchased from Trussel Ford at Murray Bridge South Australia has survived the years and goes on display in a show. Along with “From the era” travel maps, first aid kits etc.

Four times around the clock and it is still the original motor and even the original windscreen as evidenced by the quite readable manufacturers sticker.

It has never been repainted and still comes up nice with some TLC. The mags were on it came out of the show room at the time of purchase. We do have the wheels that should have been on it in the shed. They have never rolled a turn!

Our display theme is 1980’s camp out. As well as the mattress in the back it includes all you needed back then… An 80’s vintage BBQ, picnic sets & an esky. A folding table and chairs set, table cloth, containers and flasks etc. Even an old rubber backed rug.

All set to go. Just no place to go with all these lockdowns! 🙂
