Golden Oldie

My family’s first Holden was a 48 215 (FX) so when I saw this vehicle parked in a shed I was immediately drawn to restore it to its former glory. Fortunately,  the owner was happy to sell. I’ve included a photo of the vehicle as it was prior to restoration. 

The goal was to retain the original 6 volt electrical system, which I was able to do. A new wiring harness and an overhaul of the motor did the trick.

The paint colour was matched to the original…New Moon Blue by a local paint specialist. 

The interior colour and the white wall tyres were personal preference.
