My One Day Dream is a 1948 International KB 5 truck.

The truck was originally purchased in Robinvale from Kennedy and Vines in 1948 and remained in the ownership of the first buyer until I purchased it from him. The ‘Kennedy’ in that business was later to become my father-in-law. 

The truck was parked up in 1978 after many years of hard work and stayed put until I moved it to my shed early in 2021.

Over the years, the truck hauled many timbers for the establishment of the Robinvale Soldier Settlement. She even brought the owner’s first child home from hospital!

The project has begun slowly with a strip down and an engine repaint so far. 

The shiny truck photo is an indication of what my KB5 might look like. It’s my dream to restore it to its former glory….one day.
